FAQs

My Insurance Deductible is high, do I have to pay it?

In Texas, Section 707.002 of the Texas Insurance Code states that an insured person must pay their insurance deductible. This law, which took effect on September 1, 2019, prevents contractors from waiving, absorbing, or offering rebates for insurance deductibles on property damage claims (like roof repairs after a storm). We at JCG cannot and will not waive a deductible under any circumstances.

What Warranties or Guarantees do you offer?

For every full roof replacement, JCG honors a 5 year, labor only, company backed workmanship warranty. Manufacturer warranties vary based on the products installed, and are registered by JCG ROOFING LLC.

What sets your Workmanship apart from others?

Roofing materials are only as good as their installation. JCG follows manufacturer recommend installation methods to meet not only the warranty specifications, but also any builder codes in your area. Corners that other companies cut, like removing the entire roof system down to the deck for a replacement, are not tolerated.

Is JCG insured?

Yes, JCG ROOFING LLC has full liability insurance and workman’s comp. for any and all job site related incidents on your property. These are few and far between, but if they occur, JCG is fully prepared to act diligently and ensure the safety of our crews proactively.
